Marketing & Communications Associate/Manager at KOVAL Distillery
KOVAL Distillery, one of the largest fully independent and woman-owned craft distilleries in the US, is looking for a Communications and Marketing Manager. Candidates must have highly developed written and verbal skills, with professional writing experience or a related degree.
General responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage media relations and social media platforms, including writing and coordinating pitches to local and national outlets, writing press releases, arranging interviews, overseeing product placement opportunities, and more.
- Write and create internal and external newsletters for various KOVAL channels: distributor, internal company, consumer (Internal, DTC and B2B newsletters).
- Project Management of KOVAL Collaborations
- Project Management of KOVAL product placement in films and tv
- Oversee KOVAL identity and marketing materials on sales and marketing platforms.
- Work with the KOVAL events team for onsite and offsite event participation, brainstorm ideas for creative engagement, manage promotions, and increase ticket sales.
- Work with KOVAL graphic designers to create new marketing materials including POS, print materials, presentations, promotional graphics, out-of-home advertisements and more. Review existing materials on a regular basis and manage updates.
- Proactively project manage national sales/marketing campaigns, including the creation of materials, tracking deadlines, and distribution of assets.
- Support national & international accounts & partnerships through customized marketing plans, shareable content, and social media.
- Identify new e-commerce opportunities and ensure all listings comply with KOVAL brand standards.
- Create launch plans for new product releases.
- Oversee photoshoots and video production.
- Manage updates to KOVAL website.
- Identify opportunities to increase awareness and drive traffic for KOVAL’s new Tasting Room and Store location in Ravenswood.

Salary: $46,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
