The successful candidate will aid in distillation, production and bottling operations. Primary job responsibility will be to operate with the distillery team on a rotating schedule mashing, distilling and bottling. This is a position that requires attention to detail, an understanding of general mathematical concepts, and a desire to learn new things.

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, mash production, distillation, as well as packaging finished spirits. There are also administrative tasks associated with each step of the production process.

Essential functions of the Position

- Ability to lift 60 pounds frequently

- Will be required to stand, twist, bend, reach and walk for extended periods of time

- Must be able to climb multiple stairs frequently

- Must be able to verbally communicate with employees and customers and to respond to verbal commands from others

- Must perform manual dexterity to operate a computer and other job-related equipment

- Must be able to read and decipher distilling/brewing instructions and recipes

 

Requirements

 

• Self-motivated individual with great organizational skills
• Mechanical skills
• Food manufacturing or laboratory/hands-on experience is a plus but not required
• Plant operation is a plus
• Ability to multitask
• Computer skills
• Must be 21 years of age or older
