Celebrate Rosh Hashanah with the Shofar So Good

This year, Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year) will begin the evening of October 2nd, and end the evening of October 4th. There are a number of symbolic foods associated with the holiday, a few of which are incorporated in this inspired cocktail. Apples dipped in honey are a common delicacy at traditional Rosh Hashanah celebrations, signifying wishes for a sweet new year. Our creation, the Shofar So Good, is just one more sweet way to celebrate!

Sips Of Wanderlust: Osaka Park

Filmed at The Violet Hour in Chicago, IL, and inspired by Japanese flavors.


The "Osaka Park"
1 oz KOVAL Dry Gin
1 oz Inojochu (Sweet potato shochu)
1/2 oz KOVAL Ginger Liqueur


Stirred and served up in a glass over a cedar masu box with a bed of with pine, juniper and cardamom to compliment the aromatics of the drink.

Hot Buttered Whiskey Cocktail

It's going to be a cold week. Warm up with a hot buttered whiskey cocktail.

1 Butter Ball*

1/2 oz. KOVAL Bourbon

5 oz. hot water

Stir and add a spritz of lemon juice

*Butter Ball: 1 cup of brown sugar, 3/4 stick of salted butter, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, 1/4 tsp. allspice. Cream together butter, sugar, and spices to an even consistency. Roll them into balls about the size of a Susan B. Anthony dollar. Freeze or cool.
