2 oz KOVAL Rye Whiskey
1/2 oz Dolin Dry Vermouth
1/2 oz KOVAL Rose Hip Liqueur
2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
Stir, strain into a cocktail glass,
and garnish with a lemon twist.

Lion's Breath

Lauren Berg, ICI, Brooklyn, NY

3 oz KOVAL Rye Whiskey
1-2 tsp Anise simple syrup to taste
1 dash Bitters
Stir, strain into a rocks glass,
and garnish with a large lemon peel.
*To make anise simple syrup:
Bring fresh anise - including blossoms,
leaves, and stems - to a boil with equal
parts water and sugar. Cool and strain.

The High Ryes

Alex Uribe, Bistro Campagne, Chicago, IL

1 oz KOVAL Rye Whiskey
1 oz North Shore Aquavit
1/2 oz KOVAL Caraway Liqueur
1/2 oz Honey Syrup
1 dash Bittercube Orange Bitters
Shake, Strain into a chilled rocks glass
and garnish with a lemon twist.

Steph's Sour

Scot Mattox, Iris, New Orleans, LA

1 1/2 oz KOVAL Rye Whiskey
3/4 oz KOVAL Chrysanthemum & Honey
Liqueur
3/4 oz Lemon juice
1/2 oz Simple syrup
6 Drops Dutch's Colonial Bitters
1 Barspoon Egg white
Dry shake the egg white. Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass filled with ice. Shake, strain over ice into a rocks glass. Garnish with a rinsed Luxardo cherry.

Old Fashioned Pride

Depalma's Downtown, Athens, GA

2 oz KOVAL Rye Whiskey
1 tsp Brown Sugar
3 Dashes Bitters
1 Cherry
1 Orange Wedge
Muddle cherry, orange, sugar and bitters.
Add ice and liquors, stir. Garnish with a lemon twist.
