As Chicago’s first craft distillery, Koval is pleased to offer tours every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, as well as private tours for large parties and special events (email tours@koval-distillery.com). Our staff will explain the differences between white and aged whiskey, the subtle intricacies of distillation, and the delicious beauty of small-batch spirits. See where each and every step of our process takes place. Tasting of numerous spirits is just one of the perks!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. When do you have tours?
Every Wednesday at 7pm, Saturday at 1, 3, and 5pm, and Sunday at 2 and 4pm - though these times are subject to change. Please look below for a list of currently scheduled tours.
2. Why don't see the date and time for which I wanted to book a tour?
We usually release the tour schedule a week or so before the start of the next month and allow a maximum of 20 registrants. If you don't see a regularly scheduled tour time, it is probably sold out!
3. Do I need to make a reservation or can I just show up?
It is a small space and everybody needs a little whiskey, thus prepaid reservations are strongly recommended. We can accept walk-ins, but please arrive 10-15 minutes early.
4. How do I make reservations?
Choose a tour below and input the number of visitors to begin the registration process. Be sure to click "Add to Cart" below the tour time.
5. Can I pay at the door?
Yes, but reservations require advance payment.
6. I have passes for a free tour. What do I do?
Register normally, but under payment options, select "Free Tour Card." Be sure to bring the pass(es) with you!
7. Do you mail tour tickets?
No. Please have your email confirmation available - paperless is appreciated!
8. May I change or cancel my reservation?
Yes, but please advise at least 3 days in advance of the tour by emailing tours@koval-distillery.com. If you forgot about the tour for which you paid or unexpectedly cannot make it, email us. We wish to best accommodate your needs but we also thank you for being considerate of our tour guides!
9. I'd like to book a private tour.
Please contact us at tours@koval-distillery.com, and we will be happy to work with you to arrange a private tour (minimum 10 people). Please note that we are not licensed as an event space.
